Some people argue that salaries should increase according of the workers productivity, others think that this amount has to be determined by the difficulty of the task. Currently, every year, enormous enterprices provide good increments in the salary of their directors, by contrast, the average worker receive a more less increase in their payment; managers guess that the previous fact have the intention to attract the best staff. However, I totally disagree with the previous statement, and with this essay I will expose the reasons of my argument.
Firstly, talented workers are not attracted only for a big amount of money. Many of them search opportunities to develop their abbilities therefore to get experience for fill a better CV. As a matter of fact, large amounts of professionals want to work for a recognized company. For instance, I have a friend that prefers change his job to get a contract with Coca Cola. Due to the previous statement, I guess that money it is not the unique fact that make a vacant attractive.
Secondly, on one hand, I suppose that managers want to justify their increases beacuse they do not worry about both wellness and personal development of their workers. On the other hand, they dislike the obligation of provide good work conditions. In Colombia, it is possible see how companies reduce these duties offering negative contracts and fewer salaries than administrative scale. For that reason, I think that managers only think in themselves.
To sum up, the general perception of salaries scale vary between average workers and managers. First of all, managers think that money is relevant to get agreements with talented workers, nevertheless, that is not the only factor that attracts more people to a company. In addition, there is a feeling unemphatic by managers to their workers. The arguments below make me disagree.
