The graph shows the amount of fossil fuel energy generated in Europe between 1981 and 2001.

The graph shows the amount of fossil fuel energy generated in Europe between 1981 and 2001. Ar1
The line graph compares the production enegry of three main types of fossil fuel in a particular European country, from 1981 to 2001. Overall, Petroleum was by far the most energy, generated in the EU over this period. Natural gas overtook coal as a source produce of energy. In 1981, the figure of petroleum being produced was around 35 trillion units. It rose steadily over the next 4 years to reach around 40 trillion units. The next figures increased steeply from 39 trillion units in 1991 to 45 and 50 trillion uints in 1996 and 2001 respectively. Coal was produced fuel in 1981, tottaled to 30 trillion units, a little lower more than the quantity of energy petroleum. However, the amount of coal dropped consistenly down to 17 trillion units in 2001 By contrast, the production of natural gas increased significantly as apposed to the figures from the 1981 of 8 trillion units. Until around 1991, it stood at 20 trillion units, roughly equalling generated energy from coal. Then, it overtook the coal as a source of energy, reached a peak of 33 trillion units at the end of the period, four times as much as that of the number in 1981.
