The diagram explains how recycled paper is made from old newspapers. First, some newspaper is torn into small pieces and put into a bowl. Then, 250 ml of water is added and kept aside to get soaked for one hour. Now, an electric mixer is taken and the wet paper is mixed for 45 seconds. The pulp is formed. This pulp is poured into a tray and 100 ml of water must be added. This amalgam is mixed using hands so that water is nicely mixed with the pulp. Next, a mesh is kept and the pulp and lifted so that water is dropped into the tray. Finally, the pulp is put in the middle of a newspaper and pressed using a roller pin to make the pulp as flat as possible. This kept under the sunlight for 24 hours where the pulp dried and hardened resulting un the formation of paper.
