The line graph illustrates the data of male and female smokers out of 1000 individuals in someland during the period of the year 1960 to 2000.
Overall, the number of male smokers declined gradually over the period whereas females who had a habit of smoking increased in the first half and decreased in the later half.
To begin with, the number of males who smoke was at its peak that is six hundred out of one thousand in 1960, then gradually reduced to 400 in 1985. In 2000, it finally dropped to around two hundred fifty.
Regarding women, the numbers were the lowest in 1960 around a hundred after that it inclined to maximum numbers in 1975 then the numbers went steady for some years and dropped to two hundred out of one thousand.
