online bully as a problem

online bully as a problem 367gw
Online bullying is a serious issue that is affecting many people's lives. Nowadays, the development of the Internet allows people to express and spread their feeling quickly. Many people share their experiences online or comment on other people's. This could eventually lead to the problem where the Internet becomes a place for people to post harmful content, resulting in online bullying. Online bullying can happen on various platforms and different social media. People tend to send inappropriate messages online to hurt each other as the Internet gives them an atmosphere to stay anonymous and not need to take responsibility for their posts. Online bullying affects victims mentally by reducing their self-esteem. Online bullying is a significant issue that needs to be reduced. One approach to reduce online bullying is to set regulations and restrictions. For example, the government could set a new law to stop people from sending harmful content or rude messages towards others. In addition, creating restrictions on what can be viewed online could reduce bullying that is caused by harmful content. Accordingly, people who break the law would be penalised. Another solution to address the problem is through education. Education allows people to understand the effects of cyberbullying and to be aware of it. Schools could introduce classes to learn about the Internet or encourage students to seek help if they are experiencing online abuse. This approach can reduce online bullying as people would be more considerate of their online actions. The first solution seems more effective as it can quickly reduce online bullying. Setting regulation is a fast way to stop online abuse, but it also has some drawbacks. For example, the new laws can restrict people as they cannot post or see what they want. Also, setting a new law will create a grey area because it is hard to define whether the content is illegal or just sensitive. The second solution is a more feasible and achievable way. Although education could be a slow process and not be as efficient as setting new laws, it is a better way to reduce online bullying as people would be aware of online abuse and therefore prevent it. In summary, both solutions are workable, but the second solution is more recommended for long-term effects.
