The line graphy illustrates the levels of pollution in Greater London from the year 1600 to 2000.
Overall, the pollution caused by the sulphur dioxide is at the highesht compared to the pollution which is caused by smoke.
To begin with the year 1600 the sulphur dioxide levels started to gradually increase and reached to the 800 in the year 1700 and saw a slight up and downs in the year 1750 to 1800. From 1800 it rose again and in 1900 it reached around 850. From there it started to gradually decrease and by the year 2000 it was round 0 per cubic metre.
Secondly, the level of pollution which is caused by smoke started to slowly rise from the year 1600 and reached it's peak around the year 1900 and it saw a upwards and downwards trend from 1900 to 1950 and it reached to 0 by the time it was in the year 2000.
