If the other devices at home or offices could use it for less than now, it could help to last longer for some decades. Another measurement for this pivotal issue could be encouraging people to use less technologies and vehicles doing all the jobs themselves. For example, there is not always need for washing machines or dishwashers except if there is no big party or big family living in one house. People also can walk to their destinations if it is not over 8-10 kms. The debates over alternative energy have been on for over centuries and so far they have worked on several of them. I can single out sun energy as more efficient and eternal one considering it's availability. However, still it's amount is not enough for all now. The wind energy can be another hands-on replacement if the location is in the windy valleys or over mountains. Many people in the European countries have already been taking an advantage of it for many years till now. Additionally, if people living in the coastal areas, tidal energy can be good option. Because sea level is always on the move and never stops, even in the evenings which will bring more energy. In conclusion, although energy saving devices and people wish to use current fuel based technologies less may extend it's usage period, we should think of other variations such as sun, wind, tide as it's replacements
