The illustration reveals data on people having mobile phones in 10 various countries between 2005 and 2010. By and large, the quantity of mobile phone owners in each country followed a similar upward trend during the aforementioned time period. To begin with, the development in the figure of Germans using mobile phones was the most striking while the number went up by approximately 10 million over a half decade. Alongside America as the runner-up whose number of mobile phone users increased by merely 8 million. Following this were Italy, Sweden, France and Spain whose figure of people using mobile phones also unfolded a substantial increase throughout the given time period. More specifically, Italy as well as France and Sweden similarly shared the same trend by going up by around 6 million in the number of mobile phone owners while that of Spain was more moderate to experience an increase by only 5 million. By contrast, the remainders manifested a less noticeable upward trend while their statistics of people ustilising mobile phones did not go up by more than 4 million over a 5-year period from 2005 to 2010.
