The two images below show a comparison between the two methods of obtaining water for farming purposes the swing basket method and the rope and bucket. The common point of both processes is to use long ropes to collect water to irrigate the fields. Both farmers will carry a basket made of bamboo or leather that must be water-resistant. Next, four ropes will be tied to that basket, two farmers will use their strength to draw water from a small canal about 1 to 2 meters deep. Then they push the water up and into the irrigation canal. So the plants have enough water to live and grow. The next method is to use animal energy such as buffalo or cow. This method is transported by placing a metal ring in the cow's body that is tightened by wire into the pump. This method is used to excavate water in depths less than 50 meters. Furthermore, the newly built equipment includes a deep pit, ropes, metal rollers, and pulleys. Which, ropes are responsible for connecting all rollers, pulleys, buckets, and crawlers closely together. It is started when the bucket of waterfalls into the deep hole and the water fills the inside of the bucket. Then the cow will pull out the rollers and pulleys to bring up the bucket containing the water. Next, the bucket will pour water right through the irrigation channel. In summary, both paintings show the natural watering process using human and animal energy. And it has been widely used everywhere.
