The line graph shows changes in 3 types of crime including burglary, car theft and robbery in Manchester City centre over a period of 9 years from 2003.
Overall, both car theft and robbery experienced periods of volatility, whereas there was a dramatic decrease in the number of cases of burglaries.
To commence with, the total of inhabitants committed burglary take the top the chart with 4500, much higher than that of car theft with 2300 and robbery with 600 in 2003. After a year, the quantity of cases of burglaries dropped to its dip at 1100 in 2008 before wenting up slightly and witness a fluctuation from 2009. Meanwhile, there was an oscillation in the figure of car theft between 2003 and 2011, then it increased mildly to about 2700. At the same time, the sum of robbery witnessed a minimal volatility through the survey despite it again went down to the same point from where it started at 600.
