After the announcement of the super league founded by 12 biggest clubs across Europe, there have been many exploding discussions among football fans on the internet. There are two sides of this argument, on one side people believe that the super league will make football more interesting, on the opposite side fans believe that the Super League model will ruin football. These arguments proved themself to be very complex as you shall see. On one hand, those who think the Super league will make football more interesting point toward the success of the NBA in America. The NBA is the original model of the Super League and because the NBA has already proven itself to be a successful business model then so does the SPL. Furthermore, the SPL will give your club more revenues, clubs will have a bigger budget to invest into football and will give their fans better experience. Finally, SPL could be the next revolution of football when fans can watch high- quality matches between big clubs every week.
On the other hand, people who go against the Super League because there are no relegation rules and they believe that it will kill all competitions. Secondly, those who object to the founding of the SPL are mostly supporters of smaller clubs and the SPL only benefits bigger clubs. Finally, many matches between the big clubs do not make football more interesting. One of the special moments in football is when there is a David-Goliath story, when a smaller club goes against all odds and obtains the trophy. If SPL happens, there will not be any special moments like LEICESTER CITY in the 2015-2016 premier league season. Overall, I am more gravitated toward the side which goes against the Founding of the super league and believe that football should stay as it is.
