Some students prefer to study and do homework alone. Others prefer to study and work on class assignments with a group of fellow students. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Many people believe that studying alone is more beneficial than being a member of a group. Having said that my firm belief on this matter is studying and working with a group has more beneficial for some reasons. I feel this way and I will explore them in the subsequent paragraphs. To begin with, families force their children to study alone the fact that they think it will help them to get to know the assignments or the other thing which they have to do. I believe that studying with a group gives you more opportunity to learn different perspectives, and helps them to improve their skills such as thinking fast, analytical thinking, etc. According to SWG( Studying With a Group) done by experts at ITU demonstrate that if child studies alone, it gets merely 60% of the knowledge that it studies. However, if a child studies with a group, at the end of the session it gets 90% of the knowledge. Also, the other benefit is studying with a group saves your time and allows you to study more and more, and most probably you will have more time to do more things. Furthermore, many teachers mention to families to let their children study alone. I don’t feel this way since being a member of a team makes you improve your skills like communication. For instance, when I was in elementary school, I started to join different kinds of groups and they make me feel confident and also improved my communication skills. After I started high school, I entered many conferences named MUN( Modern United Nations), and I got an outstanding delegate award for 4 times. If I have never entered groups when I was in elementary school, most probably I would never have gotten awards from MUN Conferences. In addition, Studying with a group prepares you for your future professional life. I believe that groups teach you how to be a member of a team or how to work with people. So, after graduating from college, students became an employee in a firm or company. In a nutshell, you will get in well with people and do your best while you work in a company. To sum up, when all these are taken into consideration, the most reasonable conclusion that can be drawn is that working with a group gives you more opportunity and make you feel confident, etc. Also, I have to admit that all these things are profoundly influenced by my personal experiences.
