Some people believe that getting news from newspapers is the best way. However, I disagree with this opinion for several reasons.
On the one hand, reading newspapers is a good measure to learn news. This is because information in newspapers is reliable and most mainstream sources of news are under government’s censorship. Another benefit of reading newspapers is helping people focus on what they are reading without any distraction from other things surrounding them. Therefore, individuals can improve their concentration, which is an essential factor in work or study. Moreover, people are not usually suffer from eye problems such as eyesore or myopia while reading paper news.
On the other hand, the development of technology is changing the way people get news, which are considered better ways compared with traditional newspapers. One of them is online news, which is popular with many people in modern life. Thanks to news websites, individuals can learn news conveniently and rapidly. As long as people have their phone and the Internet, they can receive news anywhere and anytime. The second measure is using social media such as Facebook or Instagram. News on these platforms is up-to-date every second, so people can get news immediately after the event happened. Not only they can get news in a fast way, but also they can interact with current affairs by giving comments in each news, which is impossible in paper news.
In conclusion, although learning news from newspapers is a good way, I disagree that it is the best way to receive the news as more and more people are using the Internet to get news
