The given maps depict the changes that were implemented in a small town from 1986 to the present day. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that this area experienced huge urbanization, since the number of apartments increased. Moreover, the large house in southeast has been modified into retirement home, which also can be found as evidence of urbanized area. First and foremost, all the farms in the township have been removed to this day. The farms in southwest and northeast were replaced by dwelling, which also caused residential area expansion. In addition, the garden in central part of area and shop north of garden have been demolished for increase in living space. Furthermore, the growth in number of residents and houses lead to enlargement of city facilities such as primary school in northern side of city. Despite the fact that the school was relatively small in 1986, it was increased in size by the construction of two extensions. Also, the roadside became longer, because of new branchings in northern side of township, and the number of apartment that are located by the roadside increased. However, a number of facilities such as post office in northwest and bridge in north remain unchanged.
