As far as I am concerned every people is unique and everyone has own and dissimilar viewpoint regarding history.
It strikes people, who against of past that: when history is being studied, person can obliterate dates, names and facts, as well they will waste time. Apart from this they are such opinions as with learning history we will not do the same mistakes as in the past, nevertheless, similar faults are maid again and again, so it makes past irrelevant to learn for time ahead.
Another people inclined to believe that recalling long past helps young people to be close to their own culture and how their country was developing. Moreover it assist to the next generation to understand successes and failures.
Personally I believe that past should be at least viewed by citizens of country. It is a fact that it will give a hand of help to the future people. By myself I feel very strong exciting, when names of our countries past heroes are called by foreigners, however it is honor for national people of country.
