In contrast, others believe we should focus on other possible ways rather than depending on technology. In my personal opinion, the advantages of technology outweigh its disadvantages. Nowadays, nobody can escape the basic necessity of technology in our day-to-day life. Despite the benefits of technology, there are many drawbacks to consider. While technology keeps things tightly linked, people experience loneliness and social isolation due to fewer social relations. People who perform technology-related jobs will develop mental disorders like depression. In some situations, these people become more like machinery where they try to get rid of family and friends to live an interaction minimal life. For instance, according to Life magazine, people involved in technical jobs experience mental illnesses more than those who perform other jobs. On the other hand, technology has changed every single aspect of our lives. It is argued that technology has made the world a social village. Technology has progressed staggeringly in the last two decades, granting easy access to information, time efficiency, and many more benefits. Suppose you can't find your way in an unfamiliar city where navigation applications are there to assist you at your fingertips. If you are not in the mood to go grocery shopping, you may log in to an e-commerce site to perform virtual shopping where you receive the grocery items to your doorstep. For example, according to Business Today, the USA ecommerce sites have made significant income during the first covid wave, which was a 78% progress compared to the previous year's sales. To conclude, in my opinion, I believe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages when it comes to technology. Without question, technology has made life easier for humans.
