It is thought by some people that making different friends from themselves is better than choosing friends who are similar to themselves. There are so many pros and cons to this issue. I completely agree with the opinion and think that it depends on a person’s personal character. I will attempt to recognize and examine this issue.
First of all, it’s important to have experience, real relationships, and communication between friends because, from my view, values are relationships. Human is poor without it. Communication is air. But everyone has her or his own decisions. For example, I have friends who are totally various from me, but also I have friends who are my soul mates and we have the same ideas, reaches, and goals. But it doesn’t mean that I can’t have good relationships with other people. everyone has his own place for me. when you have a different circle than you are it’s more interesting for you. Because you have different influences and you can attend so many suggestions which will help for contemporary life.
On the other hand, it’s too hard to maintain interest in people who don’t have the same ideas and hobbies. Because there is one important part that you need behaviors like you have these ones. You need to have the same wishes. For example, I want to go to the Maldives, but my friend wants to stay at home and watch Netflix’s new show and she thinks that there is no problem. Because she likes her life which is boring for me.
In conclusion, I prefer to have a friend who is different from me but not at all. Because, I strongly believe the idea that not choosing is still a choice and if you live on your own you can decide who will be your friend.
