The first graph shows the changes in ownership varying with years of electrical appliances while the second graphs depicts the amount of time spent doing houseworks in households. As we can clearly see that the percentage of ownership of washing machine was near to 40% in the year 1920 and it showed a slight surge in 1940 to 60%. The same amount of surge can also be seen between the 60's and 80's to 70%. Then it showed a slight downfall between the year 1960 to 1980 nearly to 65%. After the 80's there was not much surge in the ownership of washing machine. Coming to the next appliance, we can clearly see that starting from the year 1920 to 1940, there was a drastic surge from 0% to 50% going staright to 80% in the year 1960 and then a slight change to 100% in the year 1980. After the 80's we can see that there is no change in refrigerator ownership percentage. Coming to the last appliance that is the vaccum cleaner we can see a linear upward movement from 1920 to 1980 going straight to 100% in 2000's and then showing no changes till 2019. Finally coming to the second graph we can see that the number of hours of housework per week has been continously decreased from 50 hours of work per week in 1920 to nearly 10 hours per week in 2019. Here we can conclude that the ownership of these household appliances has increased in these recent years simultaneously reducing the number of hours of housework in a week.
