Some people believe that taxing companies, which cause it, is the best way to reduce industrial pollution while some suggest that there are several other ways to solve this trouble. Discuss both the views and give your opinion

Some people believe that make a law to levy for organization which produce more pollution, is the best way to limit them to reduce waste. But others have a different opinion that there are the better ways to decrease it. In this assay, I will intend to discuss both perspectives. However, I side with the second view. First, we consider this idea that taking a heavy tax causes factories to restrict their pollution. At first, in the short term, it may convince them to do it. But after a while, this way won't have any effect on environment improvement. Due to this fact, their profit is much more than their tax. As a result, it may the firms prefer to pay more taxes instead of reducing pollution. Besides, it may they decide to discharge some of their staff. On the other hand, there are many methods to betterment this situation. The governments should educate and encourage companies to use new knowledge and technology. The governments can educate them on how to control the effluent-treatment that contaminates the underground water or emitted gasses. For example, planting trees around factories would have underlying effects on this condition. In addition, giving loan or subsidies to companies will help them to buy new equipment which could limit the hazardous gasses emission. To conclude, in my opinion, taxing companies has less effect than other ways in the long term. But if we use both ways together, we would have more favourable outcomes in decreasing pollution.
