many may argue for the horizontal city, which sure has its own perks, but i strongly believe there are more benefits to a vertical city than that meets the eye. Horizontal city is great if there is plenty of area available on hand. It reduces the cost of living by a lot, one would not need to pay any service or maintain charges if said one is living in an individual home. it is also considered to be safer to live closer to ground level by many studies and could also be great if were to have any pets especially if they are bigger in size like dogs of breed such as german shepherd or a great dane, they would appreciate to have a great outdoors rather than be cooped up in an apartment. On the other hand vertical city comes with its own merits and charms, In major cities its not always easy or even accessible to procure an open area and build a home. buy considering an apartment one can fulfil their dream of owning a place with in their budget. for example New York city or Paris, many, mostly young adults move to these big cities to fulfil their aspirations every year, having them all fit in a horizontal city would be near to impossible as there is a lack of real estate. with vertical city more people can move in and also government can use the other area available for public purposes such as hospitals and educational institutes. In conclusion as there are benefits in living in a horizontal city, there are plenty merits in living in a vertical city that cannot be overlooked.
