A section of people stated that history is a vital subject in the school as it gives us knowledge about the past, while another group of individuals said that science and technology are more significant than history in the school. I feel science and technology are more useful to get a job, but history has no role in a student's resume.
Children can gain knowledge from the history module; however, it is not required for their career perspective. It only provides information about past events, and it is boring for them. Although for some pupils it is interesting, it is not worth spending time on it. Moreover, it is good to learn about ancient culture, wars, Empires, and the construction of enormous buildings as they teach great lessons of life, but they all base on theories and stories which can introduce boredom in the classroom. For example, the East India Company is a completely boring chapter on this subject because it represented useless theories, and most of the children sleep on this subject.
Today, in industries there is a huge demand for scientists and engineers. Science and technology are key factors of developments and innovations, they contain an understanding of chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Also, if students master these topics, then it is much easier to get a job because most industries related to these topics. For instance, the manufacturing market's employees are engineers, technicians, researchers, and scientists, and these all hold scientific degrees. So, students who study science in their schools have more successful chances than others who do not study it.
To conclude, despite historical topics giving lessons, it is not necessary for children. Whereas Science and Technology boost student chances of employment in any organization. I believe Science and Technology must be presented in the academic schedule.
