Our society has become more modern, so the demand of people for what they eat every day is increasing. It not only focuses on eating for full but also concentrates on color, taste, quality, and many of the issues that require scientific intervention. For that reason, the development of science on food was encouraged. This essay will illustrate how science affects the food we eat positively. With the enhancement in biotechnology, GM foods have grown more widespread in recent years. The source of a number of nutritions in each type of food is improving. For example, Black tomatoes are the first genetically modified foods to be successfully cultivated in the United States. The results of the study proved that this fruit is high in anthocyanins, a group of powerful antioxidants. Many experts believe that eating more black tomatoes helps subjects prevent a variety of cancers, diabetes and obesity. As more studies are conducted on the way we consume food, the more balanced our diet becomes. For instance, Nutrition towers are set up by experts to provide information about the types of foods along with the amount consumed to suit the nutritional needs of each person. Regardless of age, we should maintain a healthy and nutritious diet. Using the nutrition tower will help you have a healthy eating habit, reminding users of what foods should or should not be overlapped, from which it is easy to choose foods for subsequent meals. By calculating calories, the amount of food consumption has been managed and the number of obese individuals decreased over the past few years.
