Dear Rosie, I hope you had a great weekend. Do you remember asking my advice on choosing language schools? I wanna share some of my thoughts on how to choose a good language school to improve English. As you know, many language schools choose online teaching method due to covid. Most instructors have their reference books for teaching. I think you will like student-centered learning more as you are sociable and love teamwork. It will also help you to see learning from a different angle. It is also fun and engaging. I believe it is more suitable for you. Don’t forget to check the number of students in a classroom! Class size has an effect on learning. Too many students will make the teacher lose individual attention. It may also affect your concentration. The ideal number of students in a class is considered as 18 students. You should join smaller classes if you want the coach to give more attention. You should also look into the timetable of your school. I recommend you to attend at least 3 hours per week course if you want to improve one specific skill like speaking. If you wanna improve all four skills, remember to spend at least 3 hours in studying one skill per week. All the thoughts about study hours is my personal opinion.
