Nowadays, many movies or films are based on books. Some people prefer to read the original book before they watch the movie, other prefer to watch the movie before reading the book. Which one do you prefer?

In my opinion, by reading the original book before watching the movie you will miss the enjoyment of the movie. In addition, when the directors make the movies, they are trying to alter the part of the original story in order that may make the movies or series more attractive. Hence, I firmly agree and I prefer to watch the movie before reading the original book, and in the following paragraphs, I will illustrate my point of view due to some reasons and examples. To begin with, I have watched a lot of movies and cartoons, after watching them, I had been always tempted to read the actual book, but by reading the original book you will be being found that there are differences. For instance, the series, Harry Potter, has differences from the original version of the book, as in some of the characters in the book were not portrayed in the film. As an example, in the Philosopher's Stone book, Neville joins Harry, Draco, and Hermione in their detention in the Forbidden Forest, but in the film, he does not get punished along with them. Furthermore, another important thing for me which I prefer watching movies at first since I am a student is that I do not have enough time to read books. Besides, I watch movies for learning English; therefore, not only is it pleasurable, but I also learn English. Moreover, movies played on the television or in cinema, have music, delightful picturization of any scene, and the roles are played by the actors. So there have numerous people behind the scene who participate in making the film in different forms, as in a writer who writes the dialogues while the story was being written by someone else, movies are directed by another person, and the roles are played by different persons. Accordingly, I prefer to watch the series at first because of the fabulous acting of actors and actresses makes me more connected to the concept of the movie. Consequently, if I had read the book at first, I would not have connected to the scenario as well as the series. To recapitulate, the aforementioned reasons and explanations bring us to conclude that, watching movies helps me to understand its related book better. Also, watching the movie before reading the original book assists me to imagine the story of the book better.
