Children do not obey to their parents. Why?
Children do not obey to their parents. Why? pEaom
The children-parents relationship is always a controversial topics in the modern society. It is evident that apart from peaceful moments, rebellions between children against their parents are unavoidable. There are two main reasons for this issue.
To begin with, the way parents treat their children can lead to rebellions. First, several parents over-indulge their offsprings which causes rebellions. With the development of economy, children todays are easily given the best condition including physical needs such as nutritions or money for other neccessities. However, that will result in disobedience in children because they take it for granted and do not appreciate what parents do for them. Second, unlike those overindulged children, many youngsters go against their parents due to parents’ strictness. They have to follow harsh rules that parents set up. Since these regulations are probably unreasonable and uncomfortable, teens want to break the rules to set them free.
Furthermore, generation gap is another contributory factor of rebellions. First of all, parents are unable to understand what their children are suffering from. The world has been changing constantly, so life todays is completely different from that in parents’ era. A number of adults can not keep up with these changes. Therefore, parents might not have the same point of views as their offsprings. Additionally, one more reason of rebellions is that parents do not listen to their children feelings. According to surveys conducted by local teams in Manchester, children who hardly spend time communicating with their parents will tend to have more rebellious behaviours than those who confide to parents.
In conclusion, how parents treat their children and generation gap are leading causes of youngsters’ rebellions against their parents. Rebellions can damage family relationships. Therefore, it is a pressing need to understand and solve this problem.
