education and practical abilities
education and practical abilities L8bOp
The Education system in the both lower and upper levels of learning is wildely focused on the theoretical knowledge than practical abilities. However, I do agree that much more time should be specified for experience experience-based training either at primary level or university.
Developing practical skills are playing a key role in various aspects of children children’s lives. Primary schools as a major part of the education process should concentrate more on learning some basic skills to for children in both physical and mental fields. This would encourage teamwork, creativity, responsibility, and life skills amongst children which can lead to a better performance in different subjects. Moreover, practical courses would develop an interest in a particular field by allowing students to experience things on their own which would result in more precise choices, specially, when they have to select an academic major. For example, hand-aid skills including designing, constructing, and presenting could be taught to students through different courses.
At the same time, academic centers have a major role in improving practical techniques besides gaining knowledge in different majors. Although most jobs are becoming increasingly knowledge-based in these days, gaining experiences through university events and workshops is still as crucial as learning theoretical facts. These could open the door to better employment prospects and more job opportunities. Specifically, there are some professional fields such as engineering, medicine, and law in which practical experiences are an integral prat part of them.
In conclusion, I do believe that at the moment, the amount of time specified for practical skills and abilities is not as efficient as it should be. Therefore, it would be beneficial to increase it by taking some measures.
