Mr. Taylor, who was diagnosed with damaged medial cartilage, is being referred rn16n
On 12 August 2010, Mr. Taylor presented with complaints of pain and swelling in the left knee joint which associated with difficulty in strengthening the left leg. Six month ago, a history of the left knee joint luxation which subsided on taking painkillers has been reported. On examination, tenderness on the medial aspect of the joint and swollen left knee, which leaded to difficulties with gait, have been mentioned. Voltaren 50 mg twice daily was prescribed and reducing smocking was suggested.
On subsequent visit, no significant changes were reported accept deteriorating in active and passive range of power.
Today Mr. Taylor still has limped gait and 5 kg of gained weight has been noted. The damaged medial cartilage has been revealed on MRI.
Regular consumption of 20 cigarettes daily and intake of one or two bears daily were revealed.
Based on the above-mentioned circumstances, removing the damaged cartilage would be profoundly beneficial to preventing Mr. Taylor from further osteoporosis. If any additional information is required, please do not hesitate to contact me.
