Write about the following topic. Most people have forgotten the meaning behind traditional or religious festivals; during festival periods, people nowadays only want to enjoy themselves. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Many individuals have failed to think of the traditional and religious events, festival times, people nowadays only fond of enjoying themselves. I partially agree with this sentence as there are still 20% people who gives value to religion festivals. Most of people donot know the meaning of celebrating festivals and always love to be enjoying their life. They think that its waste of time celebrating them instead of knowing that its country's heritage and prosperity. For example, my neice who is 5 years small then me never celebrates any festivals and even tells us not to as she think that it is gonna waste our money and time. Then her mother forced her to pray although she left home in anger the next minute. Today's children are so spoiled that they cannot understand our festival's values. She preferes more in playing and roaming with her friends in her holidays. For another example, my brother who only celebrate festivals for money which elder people give and never tried of knowing the history of origin of that festival. He even tells his friends to feel the same and not to cherish the moment and pray for the devotees who sacrifised themselves for god. Instead there are old people who tries practises ancient rituals and procedures of the festivals and expains the same to the younger people. But there are only 20% people who understand and 80% donnot even care about them and the festivals. In conclusion, even though our elders tries to keep our heritage constant, i thinks there is more knowledge need to be spread more all over the youngsters.
