I agree with the Statement that internet has reduced the popularity of television. I believe that internet is a good source of entertainment. In fact it has changed the defination of entertainment and lifestyle of people, and has also given people more options for creativity. Undoubtedly, internet is such an application that requires proper network connectivity to run on the cell phone. In other words, it can be accessed 24/7. However, television is no nifty portable so accessibility is a major concern. Moreover, internet does not require electricity to run but television fully depends on power. In addition to that, programs telecasted on television are scheduled and do not offer repeated telecast for most of the shows. On the other hand, internet offers time flexibility because programs can be downloaded especially for the ones for whom time is a major constraint. However, despite all the cons of television, one cannot deny the pros of television. Mainly, television keep loved and near ones well connected. Television can be easily operated with the help of a remote especially by old people whereas one has to be a techno savvy. To sum up, technology has made us more creative. We entertain ourselves more but the ways of entertainment are different and internet has given us more choices.
