Many people believe that teachers should teach students how to judge right from wrong and how to behave, While others think they should just teach academic subjects. What is your opinion?

It is are argued that teachers should teach students what is right or wrong and also their manner, while others think they should only teach academic courses. Some may argue that latter part should be done, but I believe that teachers should teach their students from social manner to academic subjects. Firstly, students nowadays spend most of that time in Educational Institute, meaning they have less time for them to spend with their parents. If not teachers, then parents should take the responsibility to teach their kids how to judge right or wrong and how to behave with others. But they got less time for that as parents are also get tired after work, household chores and other things. Secondly, teachers are trained to teach students in a way that they can learn everything from schools, colleges. For instance, in China, government started a project to train teachers just to teach students social skills. As students spend majority of their time in schools, colleges it is the place for them to learn everything not just textbooks. In a recent study in Bangladesh, proved that students stay at educational institute on average 9 hours per day. On the other hand, I strongly disagree that teachers should just teach students academic courses. If that happened, students won't be able to survive in the long run. In schools and colleges, there are students from different culture. Teachers can help them by teaching them how to show respect to other culture, not to be biased and so on. In conclusion, teachers are well suited for teaching students social values alongside their academic courses, I strongly believe that and stand by what I said.
