In the past, the main role of teachers was providing information. Today with various sources of information available to students, teachers have no role in modern education. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

At the present of advancements in technology, the way of studying has changed drastically. Most of the physical classroom activities have been reduced because of the modern education system and internet-based studies. However, I completely disagree with this statement, that teachers are no longer as significant as before. Therefore, the reason for my arguments is discussed in the following paragraphs. Some people assume that the method by which students gain information is improving greatly due to the availability of various online resources. In fact, students can learn anytime, whenever they want, from anywhere in the world. It makes the process of obtaining details with proper guidance more efficient and interesting. And in this regard, a teacher can be seen as unneeded. Learners can even study while sitting in a cozy area having a cup of coffee or while traveling to different places. Apart from this, although there are a lot of advanced materials for learning, it is obvious that children need the teacher to acquire and understand the course. Nowadays, teachers are well-educated and experienced in polishing the minds of students. The main reason behind the low scores in the exams is that students overwrite and use the wrong information on their exercises. For example, modern studies are too complex for students to understand on their own, so teachers play an important role in expanding their knowledge and correcting their mistakes. In the end, I believe that even if more technology is developed, we will need teachers to make study life interactive.
