There is a big difference between workers and senior management in terms of salaries. Many people believe that top-level management should be paid more than workers. I completely agree with the statement that higher-level employees should get a higher salary than workers. Knowledge workers are involved in decision-making that has a huge impact on business. Businesses are not only about hard work but also about proper decision-making. because a wrong decision can destroy the whole organization. For example,  Nokia, a smartphone manufacturing company, did not accept the Android version. As a result, they have to face a huge loss. In this case, the role of senior management has a huge impact on the survival of a company.  If a company want to hire intelligent top-level employees, it has to pay more. Furthermore, to become involved in senior level management of a company, people have to do hard work in terms of educational qualifications. They have to gain relevant skills, such as cognitive skills, interpersonal skills, and leadership skills. That is why, they have to be paid more. On the other hand, workers do not need these skills. They need to work hard physically. Inefficiency of a worker does not cost a lot, because an inefficient employee can be replaced easily. However, some people believe that workers are exploited, and are not paid according to their hard work. They receive only a small proportion of profits, though they do all the hard work to make products. Still, I believe that workers will survive only when a firm survives, and the survival of a company depends on the skills of senior level management To sum up, if a company wants to grow, it has to pay more for its senior level management.
