Write a summary paragraph of the text ‘Fear Factor: Success and Risk in Extreme Sports’

Write a summary paragraph of the text ‘Fear Factor: Success and Risk in Extreme Sports’ dWjnp
What made individuals race to the security zone as opposed to taking a chance of outrageous risks with themselves? No one has the same risk tolerance; however, some people have a considerably higher risk tolerance than others. The author used the example of Daron Rahlve to prove the statement of Lester Keller that "The high element of risk makes you feel alive, tests what you are made of and how far you can take yourself"-Rahlve said. Rahlve is a good example for higher tolerance of risk because the more dangerous the course is, the more he fights for it. As a matter of fact, many individuals are in fear of the dangers that outrageous sports bring, yet certain people really partake in that feeling more. Quoting the response in the interview of mountaineer Al Read with National Geographic News is an example about fear of risk. He said “I can remember when I was getting into situations where I thought that at any moment I could be killed”. Some individuals might see risk uniquely in contrast to other people. Not everyone sees it as a risk, Shane Murphy had the opportunity to work with a group climbing Everest without oxygen. Which to him was an extremely risky thing, but for them, it was years to train and take precautions so that don't let them get hurt when they get there. The misleading about extreme sports makes us falter in the face of it, but the truth is that climbing mountain is not really as risky as people assume. Another essential risk perception may be the adrenaline's flow rushes throughout your body that makes you become absorbed in the pursuits. Al Read said that afterward, it was exhilaration that you only feel it when the risk had been there and those who yearn for that feeling will lead them on extreme adventures like Murphy said he can enjoy hitting tennis ball around, but others might need the challenge of Olympic competition. In concluding, each person has a certain risk tolerance limit that maybe higher than the other or vice versa; moreover, fear is an important ingredient in the extreme sports because it can make people scary but can also make people excited, each person has a different view of risk.
