In recent years, more and more people are choosing to read e-books rather than paper books. Do the advantages of reading e-books outweigh its disadvantages

Nowadays, in the era of modernization, everyone has mobile phones, laptops and many other smart gadgets which provide wild information on one screen. Thus, people are not preferring to read books. In this essay I have discussed reasons of this trend, with their advantages and disadvantages of not reading books in upcoming paragraphs. To begin, there are a plethora of reasons of not reading books first and foremost is that nowadays, people do not have sufficient time to read books. To make it clear, in this cut through competition, people are always in search of money. Owing to that, people spend more time in their respective office or work place in order to earn more money. As a result, they do not able to give time to read books. Another reason for not reading books id that all individuals have their phones and tablets. Because that, they are more prefer to read any kind of books on internet rather then to find that topics on physical books. Now talking about advantages of this trend, reading books on daily basis which help to gain knowledge as well as it’s help to improve individual’s reading and grasping skills. For example, one survey which was conducted by one well known school, they said that children who spend more time to read books are more advance and they have good communication and righting skills which helps to build their personality as well as it is beneficial for their good future. On the other hand, spending more time to read books and novels which leads to some serious mental heath problem. To elaborate, sometime children are spending more time to read super hero’s books. Owing to that, many under age children are adopting their characteristic in their real life and they are acting like they are superheroes, and this leads to some phycological problems in their life which is hard to cure. In conclusion, in today’s era, people do not have time to read books because they always tend to earn more money in day-to-day life. Although reading books are good for individual to gain some knowledge as well as it is help to build strong personality, it has some negative side, beading more books which impact on individual mental health.
