In recent times, young adults are spending less time with their families and more time with friends. Why has this occurred? Do you think parents should forced their children to spend time at home?

Lately, minors are spending greater time with their peers as compared to their parents. This situation arises due to the communication gap between parents with their children. I believe that they should create a friendly relationship with their juvenile instead of restricting them to stay at home. Juveniles are not only distant from their families but also spend very less time at home and more with their age fellows. This is because of the communication gap between this generation with their elders. Such a situation arises when parents are unable to spend some quality time with their young ones. As a result, these teenagers prefer to share their issues with their friends instead of their caretakers. For example, in a recent survey, it has been observed that youngsters between the age of 8-18 like to spend more time with their companions but not with their parents due to lack of time from their side. In my opinion, it is an alarming situation for parents and they should ensure that their kids spend more time at home. The more they spend time with their friends, the more they are influenced by them which can either be negative or positive. Furthermore, in the absence of parents, they might involve in any sort of crime with their age holder. Therefore, they should force their children to spend more time with them at home. For illustration, in Pakistan, the crime rate increases drastically in the last decade and the majority of the cases were filed against juveniles. To conclude, parents should ensure that adolescents are not hesitant of sharing issues with them and they should force their kids to spend time with them.
