Socialization is the process of training people to behave in a way that others in the group think is suitable. Socializing and leisure, play a huge part in students’ life, and may help with stress management. Even though it is not highly known, students require having free time and a part of their daily routine dedicated for socializing. The main causes for stress in students are a heavy workload, too little down time, upcoming tests, and a poor sleep schedule. Some effects go from muscle tension to reduced appetite, and sometimes, memory loss. Students may develop these symptoms which can lead to student anxiety. Stress can interfere with studying, and cognitive processes such as attention and concentration. It can even contribute to major health issues such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, depression, and anxiety. We can ask ourselves how leisure time can help with stress management, fortunately there are many studies and articles which focus on this. Leisure physical activity and social interactions help students' brains to function properly by reducing stress levels, regulating the nervous systems, and improving executive function, which helps students learn more successfully throughout the school day. There are many benefits that come from socializing and leisure time which is why we really should not underestimate the importance and power these activities have over our mental and physical health. The impacts social media has over students. It is no secret that social media influences almost every aspect of our lives. School life can be affected by social media in various ways, but nowadays we focus more on the negative effects and we often ignore the positive effects too. Some positive things social media brings to students are the offer of latest information and surveys on educational topics that aid students in research projects, allows students to access authentic and reliable sources, and may provide materials and tools. Social media also helps students keep in touch with their friends without being in the same place, which helps them to keep socializing outside of school. Socializing is very necessary to help teens create healthy social lives and it is also related to a good mental health in students. Socializing can provide a number of benefits to your physical and mental health. Did you know that socializing and spending time with friends can boost your mental health and lower the risk of Dementia? According to all the research, I can conclude that the importance of students balancing school and social life is key to managing stress. It is also important for students to know about the impact and the importance of socializing, which is a good way for teenagers to distract themselves, exercise, and get the opportunity to experience new things that come with growing up. The participation in leisure activities for students is indeed one of the most important things they need to consider, as well as having a healthy routine that involves exercise and self-care can also have countless advantages. All these habits will make students less worried and more organized so that they can reach their full potential in a healthy environment.
