The course including two workshops and a field trip to Sunhouse Group provided holistic and integrated pictures of career and labor markets. Students were equipped with the foundation of how to define themselves and tips for future career. The first workshop gave us an overview of the midterm internship. The workshop also introduced us to focus concepts including ikigai, skills, attitude, habits, values. From there, we have a better understanding of concepts, know more about concepts and how to apply them to analyze ourselves. Moreover, We know information about careers, career orientation and how the world labor market is going. The workshop provided us with the background knowledge, which is the first step to identify ourselves, locate where we are, what we have and what we lack in order to equip ourselves with the necessary elements for future career orientation.
