How I dreamt of joining the Army. And how I prepared myself for the same.
How I dreamt of joining the Army. And how I prepared myself for the same. 5wQom
From my childhood, I always wanted to join the Indian Army. It has been my dream to serve my nation as a Technical officer and be a leader in the battle field. I used to dress up as a soldier in fancy dress competitions in my school, my mother used to buy me Toy guns, and Army related films were always my favourite. The dream had to be turned into a career choice. And soon I realised, I actually had to improve my physical health in order to atleast get a chance of joining the Army. My bodyweight was 45 kgs when I was in class 12, which was very less and almost in the malnutrition category. I had to improve my health and increase my weight. This is when I decided to join a local gym. Over the three years, I have increased my weight from 45 kgs to 65 kgs and it has dramatically changed my body structure and improved strength. I haven't looked back since then, I have pursued my dream and attempted to join the army in several occasions. But unfortunately I was screened out every time. I appeared for the screening process twice, once in Chennai and once in UP. Although my Army dream didn't materialize. I haven't give up, I am still improving myself and I am sure I would definitely get into the Army.
