Houses for the aged payment

Many people around the world intend to go and live in the houses for the aged once they get old. In Britain, for example, it has become usual and ordinary these days. Although the fact that these places need financial support can cause some controversies and different opinions are held towards this matter, as some may believe that it is the responsibility of the government to provide for these institutions rather than the families themselves. In this essay I will discuss the reasons why I think the government must financially support these areas as well as relevant examples from my own knowledge. On the one hand, it is my belief that places for the elderly must be available for everyone, due to the fact that many people, especially younger ones, may not be able to look after and take care of their grandparents or parents, because of lack of time, having to deal with their own families, etc. Therefore, it would a great help to such people. For instance, I have seen many people who have had many complications and troubles in their own personal lives, however, at the same time, they had to dedicate their time and energy to care for their old parents as well. On the other hand, many may not be able to pay for these houses, which is a problem that has to be solved by the government and those in the possession of power. Financial issues must be managed by the national authorities, so that older people can be looked after carefully. To sum it all up, I think it is generally beyond the power of numerous families to send the elderly to these places. One reason behind that is lack of sufficient income. In conclusion, the government and the authorities are the ones to manage this issue.
