Write about the following topic. Graduates who cannot find work in their chosen field should be advised to do a second degree, rather than taking a job that does not interest them. Today a number of graduates face difficulties finding jobs related to their college or university degree. They are left with two choices: do a second degree or find another, completely different job. Although it is argued which one is better, in many cases former is advised and I completely agree with it. First of all, second degree may open doors that were locked before due to the lack of additional knowledge. It is no secret that people, who have wide range of skills are more likely to be hired and have better pay. Sometimes employers look specifically for people, who can do something beside what their degree provides. For example, my sister, who works as an accountant was refused the place because they were only interested in workers with high English knowledge. I think if a person has opportunity to get second diploma, he or she should definitely go for it. It is not only about the amount of money they will get but also mental stability. Scientists have proven that employees working without pleasure or drive are more likely to experience burnout and suffer from stress. Unsatisfied with their employment conditions they might quit soon after. This tendency is noted to be popular among customer servers. In the end it all depends on choice of the person. There is number of things that may prevent one from getting second degree. It also takes time and enormous work to go through the whole studying again. However, I strongly believe that it is the best way to succeed in career path.
