Government funding in university should only be provided for scholarship for the best students. All other funding can find from student fees and private organizations. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

At the moment, the funding that universities receive is almost from the government. Many argue that the authority funding should be only used for elite students and colleges need to find out funding from the student fees and the sponsor of enterprise. In my viewpoints, I do not approve with this statement and I will give my own reason in this essay. First of all, the student fees will dramatically increase resulting from the lack of funding of universities. Most of funding now is from the government, so that if the government starts to spend that great deal of money for only elite students, colleges have to increase the tuition to find out the new funding to run the universities. This can decline the opportunity of approach higher education of all students. Not everyone has good condition to study in universities with enormous tuitions so that they have to give up their dream. Secondly, there will be lesser activities for students because of the lack resources. If the universities only depend on the fees from students and enterprises, they cannot hold annual extracurricular activities for their students. This can limit the exciting of the colleges and students. In addition, the resource of colleges will be lack inadequate without the sponsor of government. No one can ensure that universities can raise funding from the support of private organizations. Big companies only support colleges if they can make profits, due to that fact, not every college can have the supply from private organization because of the lack of attraction. In conclusion, government funding is still a major support for universities to operate. Only famous colleges can be self-sufficient so that authority still need to sponsor universities in order help every students have opportunities of approach higher education
