In order to appreciate and elucidate food security in totality against the requisite of its status quo, a deeper understanding of food security is something that cannot be dispensed with. On the basis of the evidence currently available, it seems quite obvious that food security is very necessary for India because as we are 135 crore citizens a huge number of persons also need a huge number of food articles to consume. In India, we have had the green revolution which was the first time when India saw tremendous growth in our Arrow industry food security is a very precious task by which we can provide food to under villages or below the poverty line person. In India, we have also started a midday meal scheme to full fill the foot requirement of school-going under privilege students. Later on, we started the Antodaya Scheme by which we provide food to large chunks of our society. In today's India, we have done so much in our endeavour that we used to export food articles like wheat sugarcane grains pulses etc. It goes without saying that in this age and time we have done very much in providing food security not only to our country but also to the world. Be that as it may, there are still some things known and there are things unknown and in between are the doors of perception. On the score, it can be set that in the light of this given fact that much has been left to be desired.
