Families who do not send their children to government-financed schools should not be required to pay taxes that support universal education. with this statement. Write 250-320 words. NdrK0
It is often argued that parents who have their children study in private schools should be exempted from paying taxes to contribute to public schools, but I totally disagree with this argument. On the one hand, sending children to private schools is not an excuse for not paying taxes to assist universal education. In fact, when families decide to send their children to non-public schools, it means they have accepted the expensive fees. In addition, the government does not force anyone to do that. However, some people use this reason to avoid paying more taxes. Moreover, paying taxes is a duty of each citizen. If some parents refuse to do it, this will lead to many difficulties for the government to support public education. For instance, the government may not have the resources to provide free education to all. Public schools will not have good accessible facilities, enough textbooks, supplies, and materials. Without adequate funds, these schools will have many challenges to attract and retain teachers, or to develop good professional learning programs. On the other hand, public schools play an important role in providing an educated workforce for every person in the community, even for those who do not agree to pay taxes to help public education, and it needs government funds to run effectively. Indeed, universal schools offer an excellent education, it opens for anyone, especially for children from poor families. A research shows that more than sixty per cent of students who graduated from public schools have worked successfully in essential fields such as doctors, firefighters, teachers, and scientists. In terms of lack of misspent funds, there will be a decline in the quality of education in public schools. Not surprisingly, when another pandemic comes, there won't be enough qualified doctors, nurses to serve the community. In short, I believe that paying taxes is the responsibility of all, whether parents send their children to public or private schools. In my opinion, public education holds a crucial role in society, therefore it must remain open and have support if needed.
