due to the growing number of overweight people in today’s society putting a strain on the healthcare system, some people think that the best way to deal with this problem is to offer more physical education lessons in the school curriculum. JYXEa
It is argued by some that obese resident are giving problems to our health system and some individuals has a better solution in dealing with this problem. I completely agree with this opinion and in this essay I will state the reasons for my view.
The most compelling reason for holding to my view is that vast majority of the people are getting excessive weights due to wrong eating habits. This is because most of the individuals who are obese are not knowledgeable enough about their situation. As a result of this action, the number of overweight people will increase every year.
Another reason for my position is that the best way to prevent an individual for having an unhealthy lifestyle is through education. Adding a health or physical education subjects in the school studies will help to decrease the number of obese students or people. As a result, these individuals will become active to sports and become knowledgeable in the healthy foods that they need to take.
Lastly, with this kind of prevention, lots of residents in our society will become more disciplined, active and educated. A recent study found that 70% of overweight people have no idea of their condition and they don’t what are the causes and effect of obesity.
In conclusion, I totally agree with the opinion that physical education studies should be included in the school curriculum. This is because educating people specially the younger population will prevent them in various deceases and be knowledgeable enough to be healthy and to have an active lifestyle.
