In this research, at first, the structures were designed by displacement-control method, the advantage of this method is that it is done with one step of design work. Then, with this method, the main components of Self-Centering frames and cables are designed and then the systems for earthquakes with different hazard levels were examined. Presentation of new Damping-Ductility diagrams for Self-Centering systems for use in Direct Displacement-Based Design, comparison of the Direct Displacement-Based Design method with the Force-Based design method, and Investigation of seismic behavior of Self-Centering steel frames for three building frames of 2, 4, and 8-stories were the most important results of this research.
