As human, we have come across people in our lives, who take big chances which contribute significantly towards their growth in their workspace and in their private life’s. However, the effectiveness of these risks in a persons life will be discussed in this essay along with its pro’s and con’s.
In todays age, individuals who take risks find out their capabilities or hidden talent which helps them unleash their potential. It challenges an individual to try various things in life which is a huge boost to their self esteem. It is vital to take these risk to understand if we did the right thing or the wrong thing in life. To elaborate on this with an example Ratan Tata who is a famous Indian businessman. If he never took the chance of investing in the automobile industry when it was crashing this would never result in him being the top 10 richest person in India.
On the one hand, taking risks can result in all sorts of negative outcomes, including physical injury and financial loss. This can be seen in extreme sports, which usually require people to do in high risk activities like bungee jumping and skydiving. Although those who take part in such sports get to enjoy the thrill of a once in a lifetime experience, they are also faced with the risk of life-threatening injuries and even death. In business, high risk investments may either offer the chance of large profits or devastating losses. This can cause the company to lose large amounts of money and even face bankruptcy.
In conclusion, while taking risks may produce unfortunate results in some cases, I believe the advantages usually far outweigh the disadvantages.
