Cutting down forests is a real environmental threat; yet, this is still happening at a great rate around the world. Why do you think forests are being destroyed? Are there any benefits from the destruction of forests? V08lJ
Deforestation is a serious threat to nature, although it is occurring at a fast pace on earth. This essay discusses how forests contribute to the livelihood of common people of a country; thereafter, it clarifies how the local people benefit from illegal poaching. To begin with, the deforestation has assisted to the progress of human civilisation. As a result of the deforestation, the land for humans have grown, which helps in agricultural and industrial development of societies, in my view. The average income has grown grown significantly in different parts of the world, whereas rainforest areas have declined. In Brazil, for example, the average income of people has doubled in the last year due to the changing shape of the Amazon, according to the source of the local newspaper of Brazil. In contrast, the illegal poaching had led to the destruction of forests, which has improved the earning of locals. These illegal activities have resulted the existence issue for many animals and trees such as spotted deer, Royal Bengal tigers, and Mehogoni trees. Selling these items illegally have improved local people’s lifestyles, for sure, but the loss for these countries is huge in monetary terms. For instance, In Bangladesh at Sundarbon, the illegal selling of the spotted deer skins have led to the existence issue for this animal. In addition, elimination of forests have reduced ferocious attacks of animals to humans, which is increasing the place for living human beings. In closing, the destruction of forests has civilised humans as it contributes to agriculture and established factories, which is necessary to improve common people’s livelihood. On the other hand, the destruction of forests benefits locals by selling different valuable items and improve their personal lifestyles, whereas few attacks are reported from animals recently.
