From the perspective of a number of individuals, celebrities would be a big help to raise the public awareness of important matters while others are of the opinion that such a method may not have useful results. This issue has been fraught with controversy which I shall explain. To begin with, there are a plethora of factors why famous individuals can be helpful. Firstly, famous people have had more influence on the public for many years. For example, when a significant event happens, celebrities are the ones who post their feeling and opinions on social media applications such as Instagram and Facebook; accordingly, folks from all around the world who are their fans will see the post and try to follow the same procedure; As a result, imitation will be a contributing factor to spread viral news. On the other hand, it can also be argued that spreading wrong events and propaganda may have an opposite result on society's insight. False advertisements, for instance, might lead to spreading rumors so that the majority of people will lose their trust. Moreover, if famed individuals try to fake the main news by posting illegal pictures only to satisfy their desires, it will definitely have a severe effect on society’s vision. Therefore, it may not be a suitable way to use well-known people to influence folks. All in all, due to the facts mentioned, I firmly believe that choosing celebrities as help has their good and bad sides; thus, it is up to governments to choose which way could beneficially affect man’s mind and broaden their horizons.
