Book review for Matilda
The “Matilda” is a fantasy-genre book, written by Roald Dahl.
Main characters of this book are Matilda, Miss Honey, Miss Trunchbull and Matilda’s family. The book is about Matilda’s life and her abilities. Matilda is the youngest person of the family Wormwood. When she was two, she could do many things by herself. For example, wearing clothes. This shows that she was genius at her youth. However, this is not all things that she can do. Her main ability was Telekinesis. She could lift and manipulate things around her. She helped to her teacher Miss Honey to get back her house from Trunchbull. She also punished Miss Trunchbull for her cruelty. In the end, Miss Honey will take Matilda from her parents and they will live the wonderful life.
The best part of this book when Matilda cooked and wore clothes by herself. It was amazing that the child is doing something by herself.
I liked this book, especially its plot and characters. They are carefully chosen and their identities was good. You will like it if you understand what is going on there.
The book is wonderful and interesting for the teenagers. It has some unreality, but the meaning is same.
I recommend this book to the people older than 12. I think they can understand the meaning of this book.
