Becoming an English teacher has been my dream since I was ten. I like this job because of three reasons. First, I want to get this job because I have a special love and passion for English. The second reason is that teaching is considered the noblest profession. Moreover, I would like to follow up on the teaching tradition of my maternal family, which inspires me so much. It is also the third reason why I want to be a teacher. In my opinion, there are four important groups of personal qualities that would make me a good English teacher. To have the ability to teach others, I need to be an experienced and knowledgeable person. I also want to help all students make progress, so I am dedicated and responsible. Moreover, a teacher with a sense of humor and creativity will boost the learning spirit of students as well as help them understand the lesson better. Besides, I am also a patient and psychological teacher because I would like to develop good relationships with students and promote their positive behaviors in the classroom. About the skills a teacher needs, I think presentation, communication, and case-handling skills are the three most essential skills. At Hanoi Pedagogical University 2, I hope to get a Master’s degree in English Teaching. Someday, I would like to work as an English teacher in a high school.
